We’re heading to italy!
A Family on Mission, From Japan to Pisa
FAQs
Why Italy?
Despite its deep religious history, Italy is one of the most spiritually dry nations in Europe.
Less than 1% of Italians are evangelical Christians.
The younger generation is growing up secular, post-Christian, and disillusioned with religion.
Many Italians know about Jesus, but few know Him personally.
We believe Jesus is calling people into real relationship, and we’re going to help bridge that gap.
Our Mission in Pisa
We’re joining with the small, faithful community of believers in Pisa to:
Support local churches
Disciple new believers
Serve in worship, teaching, and children/youth ministry
Engage in outreach and evangelism
Connect with students at the University of Pisa
Lay the foundation for our March 2026 short-term team from Harvest Community School
“Missionaries don’t replace the local church; they come alongside to strengthen it.”
Why We’re Going as a Family
We believe missions is a lifestyle, not an event. We’re going as a family because we want our son to grow up knowing that the Great Commission is for every generation.
Now more than ever, families need to be empowered to live on mission, bringing the love and presence of Jesus wherever they go.
